Administration

Should be taken with food: Preferably taken 15 min before meals. Dissolve in a glass of water & drink.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Hereditary problems of fructose intolerance.

Special Precautions

Allergy to shellfish; colouring agent sunset yellow (E 110). Na-controlled diet. Cardiac &/or renal insufficiency. Patients w/ impaired glucose tolerance. Monitor blood sugar levels prior to treatment. May experience somnolence or visual disturbances. Consider close monitoring of coagulation parameters. Concomitant use w/ coumarin anticoagulants (eg, warfarin); platelet anti-aggregrants eg, ASA, dipyridamole, clopidogrel; ditazol, triflusal & ticlopidine; tetracyclines. Severe hepatic insufficiency. Childn & adolescents <18 yr. Pregnancy & lactation.
